Soria, the water of the biggest forest in Europe
In the southwest of France, the biggest forest area in Europe extending over one million hectares: The Forest of Landes in Gascoigne. In the center of this green region, preserved from pollution, springs naturally pure and refreshing water, daughter of the forest of Landes in Gascoigne!
This vast area, « Regional Nature Reserve of Landes in Gascoigne », has been protected since 1970. The spring water SORIA is drawn within this protected area of 300 hectares near the village of SORE.
The spring water Soria is collected at 300m depth, in a huge underground spring of the Oligocene filtering the water for ten millenniums, resulting in great purity and free of nitrates. Confined between the Lot et Garonne and the Bassin d’Arcachon. Far deeper than a conventional spring water sources, it is protected by a layer of clay which protects it from pollution.
Product of the Regional Nature Reserve of Landes of Gascoigne
Soria, which prides itself as an integral part of the regional heritage, has made the protection of the environment one of its priorities. This approach has allowed for the certification, in 2007, of the brand « Product of the Regional Nature Reserve of Landes of Gascoigne» at the end of a rigorous process of accreditation.
